iSMGW5200 comprises of SMSC, new service platform, interface protocol adapter module and it could provide rich SMS service.

iSMGW5200 architecture is based on modular design ideology, it could be divided into several sub- system, each sub-system could be flexibly configured according to capacity requirement.

MAP SMGW is the interface unit between SMSC and 2G/3G mobile network. SIP SMGW is the interface unit between SMSC and LTE network. The interface unit transfer the SMS to the relevant mobile network. The main flow includes: Get routing information, Transfer MT SMS to mobile network. Accordingly, it transfers the MO SMS to SMSC module.
