Proudly presented by Genew, GS8000C/8000B/8000A is a hi-performance and chassis-based L2/L3/L4 switch. This series of products using the advanced distributed architecture and multi-stage switching matrix structure to carry operating system based on providing high-performance IPv4/v6 wire-speed switching service, combined with seamless upgrade process, uninterrupted forwarding, graceful restart, redundancy protection and other high reliability technology, so as to guarantee the network with the longest uninterrupted communication service ability. With advanced "GreenTouch" concept of communication and smart chip energy saving technology, greatly reduces the energy consumption of equipment, low carbon environmental protection and effectively reduce the operations and maintenance costs, providing a perfect solution for large and medium-sized enterprise network.


Based on HPS (Hitless Protection System) allowing replacement of key components of without interruption, such as system master control unit, power supply System, fan System. The GS8000 use redundant design, all system modules is hot-swappable, and support the seamless and automatic hardware redundancy switching during failure.


 GS8000 supports STP/RSTP/MSTP/VRRP protocol, support ring network protection, the double uplink master/slave link protection, LACP link aggregation and so on simple and efficient redundancy protection mechanism.


 Supports ISSU (In - Service Software Upgrade) upgrade without service interruption , GR (Graceful Restart) for OSPF/BGP routing protocols, ensures that user data is uninterrupted and forwarding during system upgrades and switch.


 Accurate FD two-way link detection mechanism for the links of the second and third layer protocol, implements business failure detection and recovery in milliseconds, drastically improving the reliability of the network system.
